We are proud of you, Keni Bekele

It is very hard to run for Ethiopia, or be Brazilian footballer and lose. Both of these nations always expect a win. No less. If you are a Haile or a Kenenisa or a Fatuma Roba, Ethiopians expect a gold. Proud of you Keni Bekele. You always warmed our hearts with pleasure and glory for years.I am sure you will be proud of your little brother, Tariku, who secured a bronze for his country and wrote his name in the Olympic history. As expected,
his many responsibilities, luck of training, injuries etc have taken their toll on Kenenisa, I think.

However, he run a perfect 10,000. I can see their was lack of coordination. The race had no rhythm, like women's 10k. Yetebetebete wededer nebere. Sijemer jemero menem dess ayelem neber. Chaotic nebere. Normally, when our athletes run a coordinated run, it flows like a water, quinchs your thirst for athletics. This one? No way. it was just like "yedeneberu Begoch". In this kind of run, even great athletes like Kenenisa can not get their beat.

I don't agree more on this, how about the nightmare thing you said it earlier? we were proud of him but not today. We have to admit the British guy and the American Guy showed us a great performance; He didn't run a "perfect" 10 000m at all above all it is not the chaotic atmosphere cost him lose the win win it is b/c his bad performance and the great work of the two guys! they trained together by the way.

Thank you, Dn. Ephrem that was how exactly I felt about it. We Ethiopians do not give enough credit for our heroes. Just look at how others (USA) treat their Athletes at least for participation.

What do you mean "failure"? Should he always finish first? He competed and successfully finished 4th. What is wrong with that? Fourth is still the top result in the world.
